BrickFun Terms of Use
Effective Date: October 8, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of BrickFun, including brickfun.app, its editor, account and saved-build features, and its integrations with ChatGPT, Codex, or other supported assistants (collectively, the "Services").
BrickFun is a product operated by Manifest Tools LLC ("Manifest," "we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. The Services and Your Account
BrickFun provides tools for creating, inspecting, editing, saving, and exporting digital brick models. Some features can be used locally without an account; others require an account, verified email address, or an authorized third-party connection.
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your account credentials, and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access. Do not share your password in a chat or provide it as input to a plugin tool.
BrickFun is intended for a broad audience, including children under 13. If you are below the age of legal majority, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf where required by law. A parent or guardian who permits a child to use BrickFun is responsible for supervising that use, subject to applicable law.
Assistant integrations are available only to users eligible to use the relevant third-party host. These Terms do not override that host's age or account requirements.
Children under 13 may use BrickFun’s editor and export builds to their device. Accounts, cloud saves, and remote assistant connections are available only to users aged 13 or older who meet any additional requirements of the relevant service. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their child’s use and ensuring that the child does not access these online features through an adult’s account. Agreement to these Terms does not replace any parental consent required by law.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time. We do not promise that any particular content, feature, product, or service will always be available. We may suspend or terminate access for a material violation of these Terms or where reasonably necessary to protect the Services, users, or others, subject to applicable law.
You can stop using the Services, disconnect an integration, or delete your account through the available controls. Export builds you want to keep before deleting your account. Information retention and deletion are described in our Privacy Policy.
2. Permitted Use
You may use the Services for lawful purposes.
You may not use the Services to:
- violate any applicable law or regulation;
- interfere with or disrupt the Services, their infrastructure, or another person's use;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data, including another user's builds;
- introduce malware, malicious code, or other harmful material;
- circumvent technical restrictions, authorization limits, or security measures;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or organization;
- infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of Manifest or anyone else; or
- use automated systems in a manner that imposes an unreasonable burden on the Services or circumvents technical measures intended to control automated access.
Nothing in these Terms prohibits uses permitted by applicable law or by an express license we provide.
3. Intellectual Property and Your Builds
The Services and their content, including software, design, text, graphics, logos, trademarks, and other materials, are owned by Manifest or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. This does not give us ownership of your original builds or other content you create.
Except as permitted by law or an express license, these Terms do not grant you any right to copy, modify, distribute, sell, license, or otherwise exploit the Services or their content. Any separate license for a software component, catalog asset, or other material continues to govern that material.
You retain whatever rights you have in builds and other content you submit. You grant Manifest a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, display, and transmit that content only as needed to operate and provide the Services to you, carry out your requests, and maintain security and reliability. This includes returning relevant content to an assistant you authorize and sharing or exporting content at your direction. This license does not authorize us to publish your private builds for marketing.
This service-operation license does not, by itself, grant permission to train AI models on your private builds or assistant tool inputs. Any future training feature will need its own disclosed data practices and any permissions required for that use.
The license ends when your content is removed from the Services, except for limited continued storage or processing described in our Privacy Policy or required by law. Removal does not retract copies already exported or shared at your direction.
You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to submit, import, or share content. Your use of third-party designs, brands, or catalog materials remains subject to the rights of their owners.
References to third-party names, products, or services do not imply endorsement or affiliation unless we expressly say otherwise.
4. Feedback
We welcome feedback.
If you voluntarily send us ideas, suggestions, or other feedback about Manifest or our products, you agree that we may use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.
Please do not send us confidential or proprietary information unless we have separately agreed to receive it on that basis.
5. Third-Party Services and Assistant Integrations
The Services may link to or integrate with websites, software, products, or services operated by third parties, including ChatGPT and Codex.
We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, or privacy practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.
When you link your verified BrickFun account to an assistant, you authorize the permissions shown on the consent screen. Read permission allows access to your account identifier and email address and to list, search, open, and read your own saved-build library; it is not limited to the build currently open. Optional write permission allows supported creation, editing, and saving of your account builds. The connection does not grant access to another user's account or unrelated documents stored on your device. Review the permissions, what you ask the assistant to do, and the results it produces.
Where a separate browser invitation is available, opening and connecting it permits BrickFun to relay requested operations to that dedicated local document. Such an invitation does not itself grant account-library access. Sharing or exporting content through an available feature is separate from account authorization and may create copies that recipients can retain.
You can revoke an account-linked connection through your BrickFun account's connection controls, disconnect a browser invitation through the editor's connection panel, and remove the integration through the host's available controls. Closing a panel or tab is not the same as revoking an account grant. Revocation or disconnection prevents further authorized access but may not stop an operation already delivered or underway, undo completed changes, or erase information previously returned to the host.
Local changes, cloud saves, exports, and shared copies are distinct. Check the displayed save status and keep exports of important builds. Network failures, conflicts, or unavailable integrations may prevent a requested change from being saved.
6. No Professional Advice
Content on BrickFun is provided for general informational purposes only. Unless we expressly state otherwise, it is not legal, financial, tax, medical, or other professional advice.
You are responsible for evaluating information on BrickFun and deciding whether and how to rely on it.
Digital models, generated designs, and geometry or connection checks are not a guarantee that a physical build is stable, safe, or suitable for a particular purpose. Use appropriate care when building with physical pieces and follow applicable manufacturer instructions.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BrickFun is provided “as is” and “as available.”
Manifest disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that BrickFun will always be available, accurate, complete, secure, or error-free.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty disclaimers, so some of the above may not apply to you.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Manifest and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to BrickFun or these Terms, including loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Manifest’s total liability arising from or relating to BrickFun or these Terms will not exceed $100.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
9. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Manifest and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of BrickFun or your material violation of these Terms.
10. Privacy
Our BrickFun Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information relating to the Services, including account data, saved builds, and assistant integrations.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If we make changes, we will post the updated Terms on BrickFun and update the effective date above. Material changes will apply prospectively unless applicable law permits otherwise.
Your continued use of BrickFun after updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of them.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
Except where applicable law provides otherwise, any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or BrickFun will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you and Manifest consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking appropriate injunctive or equitable relief.
13. General
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction.
These Terms and any policies expressly incorporated into them constitute the agreement between you and Manifest concerning BrickFun.
